If you’ve made it this far, you already have three items or “things” completed of the twenty three that are required to complete the program.
Show us your blog!
This is the second task for this week's activities. Before beginning this task, you should have created your very own blog and written a post in it. If not, complete Task 3 now.
Your task
Your next task is to tell us about your blog. Remember, you can remain anonymous to everyone else if you like, except that you'll need to let LTS know who you are.
To tell us about your blog, you'll need to use the Libnet wiki to register your blog. Select your branch and you can add your blog name to track your own progress. Note: LTS will periodically check your progress is up to date.
Using your blog
From now on, you'll need to use your blog to write about each of the remaining 23 'things' you complete. We'll use this as a record of where you are up to in 23 Things. You will also be required to update your progress in libnet by adding a checkmark to your progress table.
Even though we number each task and have a weekly schedule, you may complete tasks out of order or move at your own pace.
More help
The front page of a blog (like this one) shows the entries in reverse order, with the newest entry at the top. That's one reason why blogs are suitable for news, where the latest information is usually the most relevant.
Registration
By registering your blog, you can record your progress on each of the 23 things. For the sake of simplifying this process for Library staff involved, you will use the Library Staff Wiki LibNet. This has been created to record staff blogs.
Example:
Here's how you would record it in the UQL Learning 2.0 Progress table:
